Tay did SOOOO good at Swim lessons. She learned so much. Sh ewas afraid to go off the diving board, so what does her awesome mom do....??? Yup, picked her up and THREW her in the deep end. i know, i know... i am the best mom on the Earth. Thank you! Thank you! i just don't want her to miss out on life's experiences by being scared. i want her to conquer anything and everything that life brings to her life. i want her to be strong and not scared. iknew she wanted to do it, just a little shy, and i DO NOT want a shy daughter!! So i will help wherever i am needed :). i love her SOOOOO much! You did AWESOME Tay!!! Kisses!!

Cord has been bugging me to shave Landon's hair... after i grew it out :(. But i agree'd cause it is summer and hot. Well, we first "cut" his hair, but he moved and didn't fade on the sides right. So it looked retarded. SO then instead of shaving, we went a step further and bic'd it! ihave pics on my camera with him in the sink with shaving cream ALL on his head so we could bic it. i will have to get those and put them on here... its hilarious! But come fall....Landon will have hair again! Wherever we go, we hear "Oh My Gosh...it's a Minnie McCord" haha. Sure do wish i had a child that looked even remotely close to me!!!

Ok, So i really think Tay is "gifted" in some weird way... Cord and i took her training wheels off, then i held the back of the bike one way up the street and one way back down our street and then said "ok time to come in and eat dinner. We will come back out tomrrow and try again and practice." As i walked inside tay said to me, "NO! i will ride my bike tonight!!!!" As i walked outside to say, "no! it's time to come in... she was already riding up and down the street all by herself!!!!" She is so smart and catches on to things SO fast! it seriously blows my mind! All in less than 5 minutes of taking off her trainng wheels, sh ewas off and riding.

Cord and i are clean freaks (in a way) and here is Taylar "helping" cleaning. She just got out of the bath tub (from eating the chocolate from the chocolate covered strawberries - next post down explains more) and saw Cord and i cleaning the house and she loves to help out. if anyone is interested, she charges $10 an hour :). She needs to help start saving for her college fund.

i have been on a making chocolate covered strawberry kick these days. Every week, in fact. And i DON'T share!!! haha! i get 3 cartons of strawberries and 2 bags of chocolate chips and start melting away. See in my mind, i am eating healthy, cause they are strawberries. And the chocoalte doesn't count in my mind hahah! So when i am done dipping all the strawberries, Tay LOVES to finish off the bowl by licking every little streak of chocolate left. A girl after my own heart!

My Back/Neck

So this is what my back looks like. I am getting injections of radio-frequency in my neck and back, which is like a nerve block. I have been in REALLY bad pain from my car accident 2 years ago with the Semi truck. So I have been finding ANY thing and ANYONE who will and can fix me. People just stare at me when I go to the gym (IF I go to the gym). This is a time that I REALLY wish I had my family around to help me out. :(. I cry some days cause of my pain and just wanting my family here to help me with my kids. This makes it SO hard for me to be a mom, and hauling my kids to the doctor appointments with me 3 times a week, every week. And I am not a person to ask for help, so that is why I SOOOOOO wish my family (Mom & Dad) lived here. There are days I just can't move, can't get out of bed or at the toilet throwing up from the pain- while Landon is crying for me to hold him and Taylar is whining cause she is hungry for a Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich that I have to make for her and turn her shows on TV (TIVO) ans have to go up and down my stairs (that are literally straight up and down). People who have their family near by- DO NOT TAKE IT FOR GRANTED!!! Being a 28 year old, I still need my mom and dad!! This pain just sucks, and I just wish they could do something to "fix" me so I can be a Mom and Wife again!
i have to thank my mother in law for the times she has watched my kids while i went to get my numbing injections- that helped me out a TON for those doctor visits. So Thank you for your help, support and love during those trying times.
All i wish for is.... to be healthy and functional again! it is very stressful times in my life and my husband works all the way up in Morgan everyday, so i get no help with my hubby. Just need a vacation and it's VERY hard being a mom at this time in my life, with this pain and with no parents here that i can just go drop my kids off and go home for a little break or treatment (since it is so many days a week i have to go). Just having really bad days these days.... thanks for letting me vent!

Yes... this is My grocery cart from Walmart. We have had no food in the house for a month or so. So this was the BIG shopping day of the month. My new addiction is PRICE MATCHING! This cart of food should have been over $380 easily. But... being the smart woman I am, hahahah, I walked out of there with this being $250! I LOVE price matching and coupons! LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I will find any deal out there, there is possible. And if there isn't a deal on it, i will make one up to get that deal hahaha. Never hurts to ask, right? The worst that could happen is they tell you no! So why not? In this grocery basket is 7 12-pack of pop, 4 gallons of ice cream, 5 frozen pizzas, candy candy candy candy, fruit, baby food- I mean the lists goes on and on. Most of the stuff VERY expensive and adds up real fast! But $250 for all this, is a STEAL!!! I price match EVERYTHING!!! It takes about 3-4 hours to do, but worth every minute. I will post how I do this below- my shopping list in a spread sheet, YES, I said a SPREAD SHEET! If you know me, i have to have everything organized, this meaning, spread sheets for everything. I guess some would call it OCD??? I know this spread sheet won't make sense to a lot of you, but I color coordinate things (that's how I actually graduated college- color coordinating my lecture notes) but take a look...

Tay has dance every Tuesday. Today (March 10th) I went to go watch her class. She doesn't do good when I am there, so I go only once in awhile. Her Dance Recital is coming up in April- so who would all love to go... can!!! It is on Thursday, April 23rd at 7:00 p.m. at Springville High School's auditorium. MARK YOUR CALENDARS for the cutest show ever!! And if you are interested, Sarah (Dance Central's Teacher- in Springville) is taking summer applications in April. It is FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE so please contact me to pick you up a registration paper. A lot of you mom's have asked me where I have put Tay in dance- so here is your chance to get your child in her class. It fills up SO fast and she only takes a certain number of girls in her classes.

The kids and I went to California for 8 days in January (remember I have been slacking on my blog???) It was so much fun. It was the baby blessing of my sister's baby girl, Cameron and my sister's and nephew's birthday party where we celebrated at Golfland. Cord stays home to work so we can still pay the bills :(. We went and visited my Grandma who is turning 90 this July and still acts like she is 20 yrs old. She is the most amazing person ever!

So I know I have not blogged in a long while... Just lazy I guess :) Here is the house MDP is building and why I have become a single mom. Cord drives up to Morgan EVERYDAY!!!! It is a 1.5 hour up and a 1.5 hours down. This house is INCREDIBLE!!! HUGE!!!! It is custom built for the Workman's family (owners of Provo Craft & Robert's Arts & craft stores). These pictures will NOT be in order. I took hundreds of pics (every room in the house) but too much to put on the blog. It is 3 levels- basement, main and 2nd story. It has to be over 15,000 square feet. They are building on 200 acres of land. Pavilions, cabins for their kids and their families when they come to visit- or you can rent them out for $40 a night. These pictures DO NOT do this house justice. The building has been going on for about 2 years now and is still continuing to build!! I wish everyone could come see it for themselves (the owners let you take tours if your with someone they know).

Cord put the tree up so fast I didn't even get pictures of him doing it. Tay screamed the whole time cause she is scared to death of Santa Claus. She wanted the Christmas tree back at the storage unit. I had a hard time with the niche (above the fire place) - so I found outside decorations and put them IN my house.

So this morning (Thursday) I fed him Bananas (didn't like them so much) and then put him on the floor. Taylar got this stupid toy in her Happy Meal and Landon went right for it! Tay just loves her Escalade that we bought her when she couldn't even touch the pedals. She drives it every day now. Cord put Landon in with her and man did he want to take over! HE WANTED TO DRIVE! Remember, don't let his size fool you- he is almost 7 months old. He was going to get that steering wheel if it meant fighting his 3 year old sister over it! It was so funny to watch! My dad and Taylar have great bond with each other. My dad really knows how to interact with her. They have so much fun together. Grandpa bought her a bubble maker, then took her to a jumpy house and pretended they were airplanes (something tay loved to do with him).

My dad came out for the 4th of July and for Landon's Blessing (July 6th- pics to follow). We had so much fun with him. We went out to dinner and then went to a Provo field to watch the Stadium of Fire fireworks. My dad also bought his own when he was here. He couldn't believe it was legal to set them off in front of your house! He went all out!!

Tay got on the roller coaster NOT knowing what it was. She was on all these slow, little rides, then... BANG! hahaah! She was SOOOOO mad at me the rest of the day. The first time tay went, she went with Alexa. THEN... she KNEW she could do it herself (the 3 year old in her). In California, we have a huge amusement park 15 minutes from our house. So ALL the cousins and Grandma Dee went. This was the BEST day! It was sooo much fun. Poor Austin and me were so sick of "Kid-land". We wanted to go on the BIG rides. By the 3rd BIG ride, I was by myself going on them :(. How could I pass up amusement park rides??? Tay was FREAKED by Dora, Diego, Blues Clue's and Sponge Bob! But I made her take pictures with them. if you can tell she is holding on to me for dear life! hahahaha!

Tay had so much fun with her cousins. Landon still doesn't know what is going on but loved the attention he got from other people who love him. Tay loves to be with her cousins. She was so sad when we had to leave. This is Tay and Landon's Great Grandma Evelyn! She is the GREATEST lady in this world. She is the most kind, loving grandma I could ever ask for. I bet she was excited to get all the "kidlets" out of her house tho! :)

So my Dad and Dixie thought it would be fun to take Taylar to Chucky Cheese. It just opened in San Jose. I could not believe the people in there for a weekday night. We ended up closing it down at 11pm. We were one of the last people in there. There was so much for tay to do, she didn't know what to do first. But she found the little merri-go-round and coloring touch screen, so she stayed there. hahah! She won 180 tickets and came home with prizes.

When I first got to California, I stayed with my sister in law for 2 days. My brother was in Las Vegas for work, so I stayed with her and her kids. Dawnell and her kids came up to visit us. They rode bikes and went to the park. The kids got so tired but were so happy to get out of the house!

I have lost 50+ pounds of the baby weight so far. I have 9 more pounds to go! It is the hardest 9 pounds to get off me when I still eat a whole large pizza to myself, candy galore, ice cream, boxes of Thin Mint Cookies and anything that I can get my hands on basically. But how I am losing the weight is a program called Usana. It is a Utah based company but anyone can do it. It has the best stuff and actually really works. My poor boy... he has clogged tear ducts in BOTH his eyes (most likely surgery). They photo shopped his eye cause they are soooo red and scabbed. We went up to Gpa & Gma debs time share in Park City for the weekend, It was so much fun to get away. Man, its hard packing for 2 kids! Ya, I think I am done! :) We went to the Outlets and shopped. Grandpa & Grandma Came to Visit

Last weekend (April 11-13th) Grandpa and grandma came to visit. It was their first time seeing Landon. It was such a fast weekend, but we had SOOOOO much fun! My dad and I walked through the houses Cord did at Harvest Park and when we turned around, we couldn't find Taylar. Oh don't worry that she opened the basement door and ran up the stairs and all the way to the play ground! All I could see is hair flying in the hair while she zoomed down the slide!!! And don't worry that with 2 adults (me and my dad) we lost a 3 year old (Taylar) TWICE in the mall! She is so naughty!!!

LANDON MCCORD IS HERE!

On January 31st I had Landon McCord! We had to be at the hospital by 5:30a.m., we left AT 5:30am to go there hahah! They wheeled me in to the OR Room at 7:40a.m. and Landon was born at 7:50a.m. He was 8 lb. 13 oz.(Almost a 9 pounder!) I was in the Hospital for 3 LONG days! I had a lot of visitors! Thank you for those who came! I needed the visitors!
